The project utilizes 15 sets of Elementa 2 - 0.25P long-duration energy storage systems, each equipped with 2.5MW/10MWh flexible battery cabinets featuring in-house 314Ah Trina Storage cells and a 5MW PCS-MV integrated unit. The entire process, including delivery, infrastructure, commissioning, and grid connection, was completed within 45 days, once again demonstrating the "Trina Speed”

This project marks the first jointly implemented fleet of battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the state, highlighting Trina Storage’s commitment to enhancing grid resilience and supporting sustainable energy solutions.

This project plays a key role in enhancing grid flexibility across Germany's energy transition and supporting the integration of renewable energy in one of Europe's most dynamic electricity markets. As one of the largest BESS deployments in Northern Germany, this project underscores Trina Storage's commitment to driving Europe's energy transition and providing innovative storage solutions that meet the country's stringent TSO requirements and renewable integration targets.

The project adopts Trina Storage Elementa liquid-cooled energy storage system, and the whole cabin protection level is up to IP54/C5, with good waterproof and anti-corrosion performance. And with the intelligent liquid-cooled system, it can keep the temperature difference inside the cabinet within 3℃.

The Tiln Farm energy storage project integrates Trina Storage’s self-developed Elementa, a liquid-cooled battery system designed to support a range of grid ancillary services, including frequency response, voltage regulation, and reactive power control. By enhancing grid stability and optimizing energy dispatch, the system enables revenue-generating opportunities for operators while ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency.

The project adopts the Trina Storage Elementa, the liquid-cooled energy storage system. It is Trina Storage’s first overseas collocated PV-energy storage project. It not only enhances grid stability but also maximizes energy utilization and customer revenue.
